Lamin arrived at the orphanage between September of 2010 and March of 2011 at the age of 13 or 14. As with most of the boys and girls at the orphanage, he loves to play soccer. His favorite subject in school is math. He enjoys reading his Bible and going to school. He is a quiet and reserved young man. Lamin has a lot of compassion for others. He would like to become a lawyer when he grows up and wants to use the money he makes to help the poor. His favorite verse is Matthew 4:1-2, “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.”
