Serry enjoys reading, singing, soccer and running (he is very fast), but he is known for being a funny man. According to Serry, people will spend so much energy laughing at his jokes that they will be hungry when he is done. Personally, I'm starving... He is a true servant and a leader at the orphanage who has a heart for those with little hope. He wants to encourage the broken-hearted and to bring people to know Christ. He desires to be a patriot for Sierra Leone by becoming an ambassador. He has a gift for leadership and wants to end corruption in his country. His favorite verse is Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.” When asked what he would want a sponsor to know he replied, “I will love my sponsor so much for standing in the gap to assist orphans.”
